HIGHER EDUCATION – MARKETING & FUNDRAISING COACHING
Open innovation, university coaching and urban sustainability — ESCP Business School Turin.
Collective Projects 2024/2025 is an initiative funded by the Fondazione Compagnia di San Paolo and managed by Réseau Entreprendre Piemonte in collaboration with ESCP Business School Turin, designed to build bridges between third-sector organisations, startups and SMEs through open innovation processes.
Green Growth Generation is among the organisations selected for this edition. As part of the programme, second-year Management students from ESCP began a direct collaboration with GGG, working on communication strategies, community development and European partnerships to expand the impact of the FARClimate project (Moving ForwARd to achieving CLIMATE-resilient and sustainable European regional economic systems).
The activity — titled Empowering Green Growth through Strategic Communication, Marketing, and Community Development — was conceived by GGG founder Gabriella Esposito and launched in October 2024. A concrete example of applied university coaching, where students and local organisations co-build real solutions together.
The working groups
Group 1 — Communication strategy and audience engagement
The first group developed a communication strategy to more effectively engage Green Growth Generation’s audience across its active social platforms — Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn — analysing interaction dynamics and designing a plan to optimise them.
The group explored opportunities offered by X (formerly Twitter) and TikTok to reach untapped audience segments, with the ultimate goal of increasing awareness of GGG’s initiatives and improving the quality of community engagement.
Group 2 — Strategic partnerships and European landscape analysis
The second group focused on mapping the European landscape of organisations that could partner with Green Growth Generation: NGOs, public bodies and private companies active on climate initiatives at territorial level.
Students developed a strategic engagement plan for the identified stakeholders, with the aim of expanding GGG’s European network and strengthening its presence across diverse contexts.
The webinar — Sustainable Urban Transformation
Between January and February 2025, both groups collaborated on the organisation of an international webinar titled “Sustainable Urban Transformation: Bridging Policy, Green Economy, and Nature-Based Solutions”.
The event brought together international speakers from academia and science, innovation and technology, investment banking and industry. Topics at the heart of the discussion: urban regeneration, urban biodiversity, green policies and investment, urban reforestation, and participatory design of public spaces.
A concrete opportunity to connect research, policy and practice — and to highlight the work Green Growth Generation has been carrying out for years with its partners at local and European level.
Projects.
Projects are the core of our work. Through place-based urban projects, we integrate participation, research, and experimentation in real city contexts.
