On December 14, join Green Growth Generation for a special evening!

We are happy to present “Stories of Resilience: Lebanon and Palestine Between History, Art and Solidarity,” the fundraising event we have organized to concretely support a region of the Middle East very close to our hearts, today affected by a very serious humanitarian emergency.

During the evening, we will delve into the dramatic current affairs of the people living in Lebanon, thanks to the experience of Rossana Tufaro, Researcher Oriental Studies (La Sapienza University, Rome), the expertise of Rosita Di Peri, Professor of Middle Eastern History (University of Turin), and updates from the field provided by journalist Pasquale Porciello.

We will have the honor of hosting a speech from AMEL Association, a Lebanese organization active throughout the country with dozens of health centers and a system of mobile units, who will update us on the initiatives underway to address the humanitarian crisis and the concrete impact the donations collected during the event will have.

We will then immerse ourselves in the rich and deep cultures of Lebanon and Palestine, through the images of “Stories Matter” and “Pop Palestine”, the video testimony of artist Chloe Khoury with “Reflection d’un Hom(m)e”, the docufilm “Fresque de Tripoli” by Vincent Genet and Sarah Kabbout, and an Arabic calligraphy workshop with Sara Yousfani.

The aperitif, offered by Green Growth Generation, will be prepared by the local Beirut Café and Bistrot, designed as an authentic “Journey to discover the flavors of the Middle East.”
